Our mission is to serve and enhance the quality of life to for the community by providing the highest level of care to our patients. As a movement expert, our PT and staff work to improve quality of life through hands on care, patient education and prescribed movement. Our evidence based programs are designed to empower patients with the ability to identify their movement dysfunctions, the skills to correct their movement dysfunctions, and the knowledge to control their symptoms and return to a meaningful lifestyle. We want to help our patients feel strong and confident, and restore function and enhance quality of life.

      Meet our Physical Therapist:

      Tara Terrazas, PT, DPT

       

      Dr. Terrazas was born and raised in the Chama Valley graduating from Escalante High school in 2000. She began her education at New Mexico Highlands University where she was an athletic trainer for the collegiate football and basketball teams. After graduating with her Masters degree in Sports Administration, she returned home where she taught and coached for Escalante High School. After breaking records and making school history with EHS girls athletics, Tara was accepted into the Top Ranked Physical Therapy program at the University of Southern California. Tara graduated from USC with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. While at USC, Dr. Terrazas was chosen out 250+ applicants to work at EXOS Phoenix site with the NFLs top athletes, NFL combine athletes, former NFL athletes as well as professional athletes from the MLB, NWSL, elite college and HS athletes from around the country. Dr. Terrazas’ goal was to return to her hometown and provide much needed physical therapy services to our rural communities.

      When not at the clinic, Dr. Terrazas is still in the gym helping young athletes with basketball/ volleyball

      strength and wellness programs and hitting the rodeo road with her son Miguel and daughter Elise.
